5 Things I'm Going to Ramble on About (non-fashion related)

1. Getting little clumps of mascara in your eyes
This is extremely irritating and even more painful when I wear contact lenses. All the time, I would find myself rubbing my eyes getting them all watery and red. It is practically dreadful in the morning putting contacts on, it stings so bad because there’s little clumps of mascara stuck under it. I think I should go back to glasses; contacts aren’t what they’re made out to be. This leads me to my second point…

2. Don’t leave you glasses lying around.
I broke my last one by not putting it in the case; I threw it my bag and found it scratched. Then left it on the couch where it dropped on the ground and got stood on. They were YSL my parents gave me. Just hope they don’t ask anything about it when I see them next. The one before that, (a Gucci my sister gave me) I left it in the driver’s seat and guess what, sat on it. I must have a fat ass.

3. Yah! I finally finished The End of the end of Serious of Unfortunate Events!
Started when I was back in primary school, but just never got around to reading it I mean come on 13 books. But I love his writing. I don’t know if I am happy for annoyed. I think both. The second to last and the last, yeah they were good, I learnt new words and new things, but the story itself, rah! Not cool, really annoyed. A little kid inside me was really hoping for something else.

4. Watched Jumper (fully). Hayden, hmm HOT.
But the whole time, I was like, he reminds me of some one, but who??? So I googled him and a picture stood out, He reminds me of Jean-Baptiste played by Vincent Perez. If you look him up, you might not agree, but trust me if you watch Indochina, you will. Also Hayden looks like C. Thomas Howell back in his hay-day. Hmm, oh Ponyboy. ‘Drool’.

5. Kings of Leon cancelling their concert after three songs playing at St. Louis over the weekend due to concerns for their ‘health ’. Yeah, it was because they were being pooped on by pigeons. Jarred said that he got pooped down his back and face and it slithered into his mouth. Ewww that is sick. I feel so sorry for them; horrible. I never liked pigeons; to me they are like rats that can fly. I just hope this pooped on tag doesn’t follow them, doesn’t help that the blogged about…

Zimmermann!

You know, Zimmermann is a great Australian designer label, whether it’s 02 or 10/11 fall, their swimwear are never out-of-date. Their range is just so playful and diverse yet  with any piece it still has that same vibe due to their vibrant prints and design.  Like all clothing, you really have to know what suits you. For me and having an apple body shape, I find floral, block, and bright does the trick in even things out.

Oh so Convenient

Mini Rompers. Don’t mistake these for lingerie rompers or baby rompers, all though baby rompers are pretty cute, but adults’ ones are much cuter. I like 3/4 better than the full body jumpsuit, because if you're like me and have short legs, body jumpsuit can make you look even shorter and wider. 3/4 rompers goes nicely on its own, but with a leather waist belt it can flatter your body. Though, in my view, the less floaty and more short looking rompers don't go so nicely with a belt, it can actually accentuate your butt and shorten your legs. May look nice in the front, but not so much at the back. Floral, funky, tie-dye or block colors are my fave. Pair one of these with some funky platform sandals for nighters. Can't wait till summer to wear one of these

Funky or Wild?

So, I’ve realized that I always had a thing for Ethnic and funky prints (I think that's what they're called, my Bf calls them grandma prints lololol ^^) but never really worn them due to never finding anything which will flatter me. But still, I’ve  noticed that they are starting to build up in my wardrobe; surprise, surprise. I particularly favour the ones that tends to be more subtle,  in  tiny prints, and  are in deep rich colours

The images I got are close enough. I’m liking the Karen Walker one, I fancy how it has a sheer light frill under layer. Oh and the shoes, the colour is fantastic, its is dark chocolate red plum? Please tell me, I go crazy over really dark colours on such pale white skin.

Nz’s designers are really shinning through. Which brings me to the next topic. The Models!!
I saw in a few blogs lately posting about the 'Lonely Hearts' collection, but little did I know they were NZ’s very own models. Amy Tappenden and Nicole Clulee]
wow, they are fantastic looking. I'm not too sure what show this is that Nicole Clulee is featuring in
But omg... I want to paint my lips all chocolate red and have my hair in a bun

Milkshakes 'n' scramble eggs

Last few days, I've been browsing through blogs and looking at some photography pictures, and they have really inspired me to take some self portrait in funky tones. I don't have a flashy  photography camera, just a plain camera. But, with the lighting of the sun and some coloring changes, they turn out well.

I'm liking. links

Belt n Buckel

Up late can't sleep, such a beautiful day today, soo lovely and warm.
Dressed casually, ripped demin shorts, long washed purple singlet and black cardy, hair fishbraid, feet; sandals. I wanted to wear my new platforms, but I've been wearing that too much, thought I'll give my caft muscle a rest. I'm not much of a heel or platform wearer, it seems a bit too much for daily outings, but lately I've noticed they do wonders to my legs, and just make my  lay back casual outfit more WOW. But flats are always a good company to have a around.

Kerr looks fantastic particularly the 2nd one, I love how her hair looks slightly red. I've never seen her like that, not just the hair but the style, she always seem more, umm in perfect order, there she looks more relax and flowing; must be the dress, flats, and the hair. speaking of Kerr

Just me or does this cover picture look not much like her?
